After rescuing a famous Weylin noble, Ryn is gifted a golden mask she wears as she begins her journey across the desert with Burn Division XII. Under her real name, "Adassah", she battles B'rei Mira divisions, giants, and enemy kings, but most of all, the brokenness in her own heart.

But everything comes to a halt when she crosses Xerxes in battle. Because of her mask and changed name, the young King she once cared for has no idea who she is. Ryn is left with two options: reveal who she is so she can say all the things to Xerxes she never got to the last time she saw him, or keep her identity a secret in order to protect her burn division.

This book is inspired by the heart and supernatural battles of King David in the Bible and includes illustrations by Kyannah Durocher and Jennifer Kropf.
