The Glassmaker's Secret: A Winter Solstice in Estonia - Paperback

In this riveting dual-timeline novel, a woman chases a wartime family mystery to Estonia and is swept into unexpected romance, a battle to save a treasured legacy, and a reckoning with the life she thought she wanted-all in one one unforgettable holiday week.

"The secret is in the woods." That's what Ava Kallas's grandfather told her when they planned their journey to Estonia, the country he fled as a child during World War II. But her grandfather, a glassblower, died a week before their trip. A year later, Ava is struggling to rescue his failing art gallery and drifting away from her partner Roger. When Roger's bank dispatches him to Europe, he invites Ava along-and she seizes the chance to uncover the secret her grandfather never revealed.

Ava's search for answers leads her to an unlikely ally: Mattias Tamm, a food-truck owner grieving his late wife. Ava follows the trail through the winter forests of modern-day Estonia, while her grandfather's letters transport the reader back to his wartime childhood. As Ava and Mattias weave together clues from the past, her present begins to unravel: an unsettling proposal, a sudden business setback, a threat to the forest at the heart of her search, and a shattering betrayal. On Christmas Eve, past and present converge, and Ava makes a shocking discovery that finally lays bare the past-and may also rewrite her future.

Set against a vividly rendered Estonian backdrop, the novel alternates between Ava's life-changing journey and her grandfather's poignant letters. An unforgettable family mystery, holiday romance, and story of resilience, The Glassmaker's Secret explores the ties that bind us across generations-and the courage it takes to forge our own path.
