The Ghost Of Alice

The Ghost Of Alice portrays the life and death of Alice Flagg. It is a tale of lost love during the Pre-Civil War days in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Alice wants only to marry her love, Johnathan whom she is secretly engaged to. But her family wishes her to marry a wealthy, rice plantation owner. Before her untimely death, the engagement ring Johnathan had given her is lost in the waters of the inlet. Alice can not rest until she finds her ring. This book conveys the legend behind this local ghost story and history regarding the harsh life of plantations in the Olde South. ​​​​​​​
