When siblings Joshua and Fuchsia Hilton rediscover their late Aunt Leila's diamond ring, they soon find out about its hidden powers. When Leila's old lover, Peter, chases them out of their small Massachusetts town in pursuit of the powerful ring, they end up in the hidden, mystical land of the Starlight Crescents.

Exploring the land, the siblings encounter some special residents, and discover more rings with special powers. However, they also find out about Peter's agenda to destroy all the rings to power the most forbidden gem of all: the Shadow Ring.
