Formerly addicted to substance abuse, Theresa knows the ins and outs of struggling to make her life better. By applying perseverance and faith she has steadily overcome life's trials. Early in her career, Theresa worked in a substance abuse and MICA/AIDS program. This position prompted her to obtain a degree. Theresa now holds a B.A. in Social Services and works in the Department of Psychiatry. She is also a minister at her local church, New Life Tabernacle under the leadership of Bishop Eric R. Figueroa, Sr. Theresa and her husband Kevin have been married over 30 years and make their home in Elmont, NY with their two children; Nicole and Kevin, Jr.
