It is the middle of what we now call The Great Depression. The green and yellow menace invading the lawns of a peaceful South Dakota town is alive and growing. Some of the leading men in town have come up with a creative plan to stop this unwelcome guest. What they don't know is that their children have come up with a plot of their own, and they are determined to succeed.
Can the young conspirators work together to pull off their scheme?

The Dandelion Conspiracy is a middle-grades fictional account of a historical event that occurred in 1935 in Aberdeen, SD. In the early 1900's, before the use of herbicides became commonplace, Dandelion Days were common throughout the United States. These events would bring communities together as they attempted to eradicate a common weed through manual labor.
