Ms. McKenzie, reared on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, she is one of many children born to Hilda R.Williams.Hilda married David J. Mckenzie/Shockley. Having left home at an early age, the foundation had already been cemented in her mind as to what her endeavors were and she set out to accomplish them. When initially on her own, she encountered many of the same problems that face the people she has and continues to serve with pride. One goal was to own and operate her business; the second was to incorporate both her academic degrees, registered counseling certification, employment and life experiences and share this saturated knowledge with the community.

Ms. McKenzie has excelled in many areas of the Human Services and Academic Fields. She has worked in the capacity of Interim Executive Director, Program Director, Social Worker, Family Associate and Substance Abuse Prevention Intervention Specialist. While maintaining a consistence in her services to the people she was one of the original persons present at the desecration of the New York City Afrikan Burial Ground. She continues to stay active conducting presentations and other outreach activities to individuals and communities regarding the Afrikan Blacks true local and global contribution to the world.
