She is also an avid tea drinker (with milk and sugar, please), expert Cheerio sweeper, and finder of lost things.Derbyshire, Doug: - Dr. Doug has been a medical missionary in Thailand since 1992. He and His wife, Cheryl raised 4 children on the mission field and all 4 continue to serve the Lord today. Dr. Doug loves to tell the stories of the people that he has seen God call to Himself and fill with the joy of anew life in Christ.McCollough, Jerry: - Jerry and Faith McCollough were Assemblies of God missionaries/Gospel illustrators, and retired in 2010. They were trained as commercial artists at Woodbury University in Burbank California, and began working together on illustrations while serving in Brussels, Belgium. They also served in Bulgaria, Slovakia and Germany. They illustrated numerous books for Global University and four illustrated narrative Bible stories while in Belgium. They researched, wrote and illustrated two historic evangelical books on Christian heroes, published in several languages. The Christmas Elephant was the first book they have illustrated that was based on a current missionary's experience, coupled with creative poetic narrative.The McColloughs currently live in Fort Worth, Texas, have two children and four grandchildren.
