The Case of Marvin Dunes- Brian Crossley's Journey Novella One of Three - Paperback

When Brian Crossley's best friend, Matt, vanishes without a trace, Brian discovers a mysterious envelope Matt left behind - a key, a plea for help, and instructions that defy belief. Following the clues to Matt's home, Brian unlocks a hidden basement where he finds something extraordinary: a functioning time machine.

Inside the basement lies a trail of notes revealing that Matt has been traveling through time, righting historical wrongs - saving people who were murdered decades ago. But his latest mission may have gone wrong, and his life may depend on Brian continuing where he left off. With a list of unsolved murders in hand, weapons labeled by era, and a cryptic promise that together they'll "save Savanna," the girl Brian lost long ago, he faces a choice that could alter history itself.

Brian's first task takes him to July 27th, 1953 - to the home of Marvin Dunes, a man fated to die within minutes. Armed with a revolver, a disguise, and Matt's experimental watch that can return him home, Brian steps into the past. But nothing goes as planned. Each attempt to stop Marvin's murder twists tighter, forcing Brian into dangerous paradoxes and testing his sanity as the line between hero and killer begins to blur.

As Brian delves deeper into Matt's secret project, he uncovers a dark truth - one that questions whether saving lives in the past might destroy the future. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a descent into obsession, morality, and time itself.
