You lie once, you "get away with it", so you do it again. You see, the person in a relationship says to themselves, I know fornicating is wrong, but very soon this person will be my spouse and it will be okay.The problem is, when you get married, the sex is no longer illegal. By default, it no longer has the excitement of the "forbidden". So, you look for the next best "illegal" thing that can give you that high.
