Shiflett, Stacey: - Michael Stacey Shiflett was born October 19, 1972, saved in 1976 and called to preach in 1993. Pastor Shiflett grew up in the home of a pastor and missionary, serving with his parents in the Samoan and Hawaiian Islands during the 1980's. Upon completion of Bible College, he served with his family as a missionary in South Africa for 5 1/2 years. He was the pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina from August 2006 until July 2014. He has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk, Maryland since 2014. He and his wife, Grace have five children. The Shiflett family enjoys singing together and serving the Lord in the various ministries of their local church.Pastor Shiflett was a building contractor prior to going into the ministry with a successful construction company. He studied and prepared for the ministry at Grace Baptist Institute in Harlem, Georgia, a ministry of Antioch Baptist Church. When he is not pastoring the flock, Pastor Shiflett enjoys many hobbies such as deer hunting, reading, playing instruments, songwriting, riding his Indian motorcycle and spending time with his family.Shiflett, Grace: - "Grace Elizabeth Young Shiflett grew up in a pastor's home. She was saved at the age of seven and is the youngest of five children. Both of her brothers are independent Baptist pastors and both of her sisters are independent Baptist pastor's wives. She surrendered to God's will to marry a preacher as a teenager. She and Pastor Shiflett were married in July, 1995. They served as missionaries in Bloemfontein, South Africa from 2001 - 2006.She has been a pastor's wife Stateside since 2006. All of their children are serving God faithfully in their local church, and their oldest daughter is serving as a missionary's wife in Bacolod, Philippines since 2022. Grace is an outstanding hostess and loves to cook and entertain guests in their home on a weekly basis. She teaches a lady's class on the Christian Family at Sure Word Baptist College. She often accompanies her husband on missions trips. She is a regular contributing author for The Highly Favoured Life; women's devotionals compiled by her two daughters, Marissa Patton and Callie Payne.
