This pamphlet covers the attack, the defense, retreat, firefight, and the assault with hand grenades by the Assault Platoon. It includes original illustrations such as maps and unit formations as visual representations. Parts from the draft of a regulation from December 1944 that according to our research was never published are also included. In addition, various German pamphlets and regulations are also referenced in this book. This translation features a side by side German-English translation and remains true to the original's formatting. Footnotes and supplementary information were added to provide the reader with additional context and insight into the German Army structure, the meaning of various concepts and their modern equivalents.
