About the Author
Baltasar Magro Santana (Toledo, Spain, 1949) is an acclaimed writer and journalist. He studied Philosophy and Literature at the Autonomous University of Madrid and, years after, studied Journalism. For more than thirty years he has worked in different television programs as a scriptwriter of cultural, documentary and entertainment programs. In 2019 the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Toledo awarded him the Literature Prize and he was nominated for the Emmy Awards for TV in the United States for a report on the 1981 Spanish coup d'état attempt.
The award-winning illustrator Dani Padrón was born in Ourense, Spain, an architect by training. He started his career as an illustrator in 2011, after winning the Pura e Dora Vézquez Award for the illustrations of his first book. Since then, he has published several picture books. In 2016 he was awarded Gold Medal at the International Latino Book Awards with the book The Little Golden Key, published by Cuento de Luz.
