Batrachenko, Victor: - Viktor Batrachenko was born in Perm in 1943. He graduated from the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute in 1966. He served in the army, retiring in the rank of lieutenant colonel. Having earned a PhD in engineering, he worked as an associate professor at the Voronezh State Pedagogical University. Since 2001, he has published four volumes of poetry and a collection of romance song lyrics. His poetry has been included in thirty-eight collections of works by different authors and printed in periodicals in Armenia, Ukraine, the US, and Kazakhstan. In 2019, Mr. Batrachenko immigrated to the US; he resides in Broomfield, Colorado.
