Murray, Patience: - Patience Murray is an entrepreneur, author, and Founder of the Survive Then Live Foundation. She recently graduated from NYU as a MCC Resilience award recipient. She is a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting, which is considered to be one of the deadliest mass shootings by a single person in modern U.S. history. Since then, Patience has been recognized for her incredible strength, courage, and ability to overcome adversity with grace. She currently resides in Hollywood, Florida, with her husband Alex Murray. Their docu-series "Sincerely, Patience," which featured the couples wedding presented by Eagles Entertainment, has recently been nominated for an Emmy. Although Patience continues to write books, she has plans to pursue a writing career in film to help illuminate powerful narratives that haven't gotten the recognition they deserve.
