Lillis, Tony: - Tony Lillis started skateboarding and surfing as a teenager in the mid-1970s. He earned a bachelors in history at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, from which he made frequent jaunts to Virginia Beach before and after class, as well as to the Outer Banks as often as possible. After graduation, he worked in book publishing for thirty years as an editor, marketing director and project manager for the Donning Company/Publishers, Antique Trader Books and Harris Connect. For many years, he was a resident of Virginia Beach, and he now resides in Norfolk.
