This children's book tells the powerful story of Sumayyah bint Khayyat, a formerly enslaved woman who became the first martyr of Islam due to her unwavering faith and refusal to renounce her belief in Allah despite brutal torture by the Quraish tribe. Her courage and sacrifice inspired early Muslims and continues to serve as a symbol of strength and devotion for young readers today. Through vivid storytelling and illustrations, the book honors Sumayyah's legacy as a heroic Companion of the Prophet Muhammad.
