Truly a "River of Colors," this new recording by the original jazz/world music guitar duo rushes forth with the top flight mastery of the acoustic guitar and improvisation that Strunz & Farah are renowned for. This recording spans a breadth of styles, incorporating flutes, violin, bouzouki and percussion. With a hand-picked selection of musicians from Latin America, the Middle East and the U.S., this work celebrates a colorful cultural diversity - music that S&F have pioneered since 1979. The compositions mix flamenco, Persian, Latin folk and romantically classic sounds with harmonic twists and rhythmic textures overlaid with fluid melodies.
