Strange Roads - Paperback

Jade spent her whole life searching for peace and happiness, repeatedly beating her wings with all her might, only to fly straight into the glass wall that separated her from the light. She could see it, but she couldn't touch it. After repeatedly falling to the ground, stunned and bruised, she began to believe that the light was not meant to be given to someone like her. She did not deserve it. She tried working as a hostess at a Korean bar, later as an exotic dancer, and she once married a knight in shining armor-who would not carry her on his white horse.

Nevertheless, she would get up, dust herself off and try again. And again. And again...until finally, instead of beating herself against a wall, she opened a door and her whole life changed.

This book is the story of Jade's adventures and travels through the wilderness of life. It may be your story, too. Not that our lives are the same, but that our search for meaning and happiness is the same. Jade hopes you can learn from her sometimes hilarious and sometimes cringe-worthy mistakes as well as her hard-won wisdom. Her lifelong quest for meaning, purpose and happiness turned out to be simply, yet gloriously, the search for God-and how in His relentless pursuit of her, He finally brought his prodigal daughter back home.

Jade has become an author, speaker and remains a lifelong champion for the underdog.
