Indolent Alabama rich boy Craig Baker (Jeff Bridges) was asked to be the front man on a syndicate's bid to buy out the bodybuilding gym that'd been holding up a redevelopment deal. As he gets to know the facility's regulars-including a charming receptionist (Sally Field) and a Mr. Universe hopeful (Arnold Schwarzenegger)-he finds himself with unaccustomed second thoughts.
