Just when broken hearts were on the mend, ABC & SC had to do it again! Back in 2016, Austin Boogie Crew first released this seminal modern funk 45 by Bay-area duo Starship Connection (Teeko & B. Bravo). The 7" rapidly picked up steam in the DJ circuit and sold out of it's initial 1000 copy run. "Heartbreaker" (a talkbox led Zapp & Roger cover) was embraced by the b-boy community, most notably Jabbawockeez, who performed to the song during Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals! A repress has been in demand for years and it's finally landed in 2023.
