Captain Jason Reynolds is back! In the third installment of the Scrapyard Ship sci-fi adventure series, Space Vengeance, Jason, his family, and The Lilly's crew face the impending destruction of their internal nano-devices. What's worse, what remains of the Craing fleet, some 1500 warships, is back and headed straight toward the already decimated planets within Allied space. In what looks to be a one-way suicide mission, Jason must leave Nan and Mollie behind on Earth and out of harm's way. While war rages on sixty light-years from Earth, maniacal space raider Captain Stalls and hundreds of his pirated warships close in on Earth. Stalls knows exactly what he wants: to find and kill Captain Reynolds and take the beautiful Nan Reynolds for his own. Note from the author: If you've made it to this third installment, you already realize this is an ongoing series. With that said, more often than not these books have cliff-hanger endings! Reviews: Another great book in the series
I joined his mailing list so received the notice last night that the new book in the series was available. Wonderful service and I wish others had that same capability. I immediately purchased the book and read it this morning. This is more of the same, action-centered, exciting adventure that we've seen in the first books of the Scrapyard Ship series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. These books are fun to read and I always walk away with a smile. Action, adventure scifi romance, space opera drama, syfy romance, military science fiction... what more could you want? If you haven't read the first books, you should read them before you read this one or several things won't make sense.-
R. White Mark McGinnis knows how to write. Get the Scrapyard Ship series. It's Amazing
I love his writing, humorous syfy space opera, at its best. Mcginnis' style is to a tee, and I am emphatically hooked. I enjoyed every book he has written thus far and this is no exception. I was only a mediocre reader when it came to sci do, but McGinnis pulled me in. So far I have read his first series and now this one. Purchase it. You won't be disappointed with any of them. I plan on getting his others, as well. He has Gun Ship, The Hidden Ship, and Guardian Ship - as well as, the Stae Watch series. I'm going to be busy for a while!- Sarah Great scifi space adventure
another great space action and adventure with good characters and not too complicated, well written in an easy down-to-earth style - read it and the others (the Star Watch series, as well) in the scrapyard series.- Lynxman Fine sci-fi and one of the best I've read of late.
Damn fine work, would've loved to have seen Reynolds and Dira hook up but all in all one of the finest stories I've read from the new batch of sci-fi writers on par with Drake, Haldeman, Clarke, etc.. I recommend this book to everyone.-
Amazon Customer Great military science fiction book. Great series.
I love the Scrapyard Ship series. It is the modern version of H. P. Piper's books. I can't wait to read more.- Kindle Customer Query re: the Scrapyard Ship Series...
OK, when are you going to join Jack Campbell, Robert Jordan, Modessitt, Jr., etc. ( obviously I read more fantasy than SCI Fi, but you've got me hooked...) I am really enjoying the series, despite the fact that it takes me about 2 days to read each book in and around 16+ hours of work each day in a community health clinic. Hopefully, you will join that elite group above as you continue to write. Keep up the great work. Keep writing...finishing in two days leaves me with a major gap between books. LOL- drojos
