Recorded by co-producer and veteran engineer Paul Lani in Nashville, Southern Christmas brings together an all-star band of southern music studio session masters bassist Oteil Burbridge (The Allman Brothers Band, Victor Wooten, Trey Anastasio), guitarist Billy Crain (The Dixie Chicks, The Outlaws, Shania Twain), Tammy Rogers (Patty Loveless, Kieran Kane) on fiddle and mandolin, and drummer Marco Giovino (Robert Plant, Norah Jones, Don Henley).
