When the body of an attractive young woman is found wrapped in a package in a Phoenix city park, homicide detective Sean Richardson is stunned to discover along with the body the driver's license of a woman who was killed forty years earlier. The original victim was the first of four women who were murdered and then dumped in a run-down neighborhood south of the Deuce, Phoenix's long-time skid row district, but the killer was never identified or captured.
