He has held a Leverhulme Trust Early Research Fellowship to develop novel metamaterials to control and manipulate electromagnetic waves and is currently a Lecturer in Electrodynamics and Spin Electronics at the Electronic & Nanoscale Engineering Division of the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow.
