Tom Jackson is a highly experienced science writer and editor who has written many titles in the bestselling series Basher Science, including Artificial Intelligence and Pandemic. Tom lives in Bristol.

Kristyna Baczynski is a British-Ukrainian illustrator, cartoonist and author who lives and works in the north of England. She is the creator of the graphic novel Retrograde Orbit and the illustrated seasonal plant guide The Wild Year. She has worked with publishers such as Penguin Random House, Hachette, 2000 AD, Carlton and Canongate. Alongside larger projects, Kristyna self-publishes illustrated zines and experiments with risograph printing.
