Lilly loves her Nana SO MUCH. They do many fun activities together, including making the best chocolate chip cookies ever. The visits were still fun but Lilly started noticing changes in Nana over the past several visits in her voice, her walking, and her movements. It worried Lilly, and she asked her mom about it.

This is a beautifully written story for children of all ages. It gently explains the changes that might be seen when a grandparent or other loved one is challenged with Parkinson's disease in an engaging story that will capture their attention. Young people are better for knowing the truth and knowing how they can help if possible. Wonderful book for anyone who needs to explain Parkinson's to someone in a gentle yet completely honest and informative way.

Dincher, Angela: - Angela Dincher grew up in Central Pennsylvania in a family of educators. She feels she literally grew up in classrooms and schools and is happy for the experience. She graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education and a Minor in Psychology. Her graduate work was in Special Needs Education. She earned a Lehigh Valley Writing Project Certificate from Penn State Lehigh Valley. Angela's largest portion of her teaching career was as a First Grade teacher.Angela has always had a great love of children's literature and writing her own stories and poems, utilizing those stories in the classroom. She is constantly adding children's books to her extensive home libraryfor her grandchildren to discover and for herself to forever enjoy.Angela raised three wonderful children, Tierney, Kristen, and Ryan. She had to have an early retirement due to health, which in her words "broke her heart." She was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, which she researched and lived with for several years. That diagnosis evolved over time into a more refined diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with Autonomic Dysfunction.In 2020, Angela was honored with the Nazareth Area School District "I Touched the Future" Award. She currently lives in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Carl, and lovable elderly Treeing Walker Coonhound, Ginny.
