In Cape Town, South Africa, not all is what it seems as fishing boats suddenly start sinking. Jason is set on seeking revenge for the death of his fiancée and pursues the killing of a specific great white shark. Sam, the head of the marine and coastal management institute, is looking for a successor so that he can retire. In the meantime, his employee, Maria, is at war with Jason and all the fishermen.
