THIS STORY OF FAITH, HOPE, AND REDEMPTION takes readers on the riveting journey of Jonah and Sephirah. Jonah grew up poor with parents who struggled to make an earnest living. Sephirah grew up in a middle class, loving home, thanks to the saving grace of her grandmother. Sephirah's mom was a college graduate and business owner, but her father was raised in the streets and ended up an infamous drug dealer. Sephirah and Jonah meet at a shelter. He has just been paroled after serving 20 years in prison for a murder he committed at age 14, having killed his 'preacher uncle'. Sephirah has just escaped a tumultuous, abusive relationship, and finds herself homeless. At "The Love Shelter" she meets her soul mate, Jonah, and they embark on a captivating journey with an ending that will leave readers spellbound.

Shippy-Vauls, Deborah: - The founder of T.O.U.C.H. Ministries, Inc., for over 30 years Deborah Shippy-Vauls has worked in social services, juvenile corrections, prison volunteer, foster care parent, and in urban ministry, giving hope to at risk youth and families in the inner city of Cincinnati, Ohio. She grew up as pastor kid working along side her parents who were pastors of an inner city church in Over The Rhine, Cinci. Her parents were instrumental in teaching her and her siblings to love all mankind, especially those whom society deemed as castaways. Loving and giving hope to the poor has been her mission in life. In 2021 she plans to open a worship, arts, and outreach center for urban youth, a place for them to discover, develop, and deploy their gifts and talents. Her first gospel play, A Woman's Worth, tells real monologue stories of those who have found themselves bound by addiction, abuse, depression, and feelings of hopelessness. It is spiritually igniting, and ministers the grace and love of God to the spirit and soul. The play originated from her personal testimony of enduring and surviving a domestically violent relationship with a drug dealer. The play has given hope to over 50,000 youth, men, and women residing in prisons across the country, thanks to her dance and drama team Expressions of Praise. In 2019, she wrote her second play, Shoutin' 'n My Shackles! on which this, her first novel, is based. Deborah has been married for 13 years to her partner in life and ministry.
