The inside of a bomb shelter is all that Hannah has ever known. Sheltered was written in 2010 when Spencer was taking a course in San Diego on the writings of political theorist Hannah Arendt. This play was his final assignment, which seeks to investigate questions of good and evil, freedom and tyranny.
