The relevance of dynamism in Gandhian thought, percept and vision could guide the concerned citizens and policy makers in the search for solutions. Each of the seven sins identified gets organically linked to the remaining six. Hopefully, it would provide sparks for further study and analysis of how the ideology of progress that India deserves could evolve, taking the best from outside but retaining the flavour of the indigenous thought and wisdom. Indian democracy, with all its lacunae and inadequacies, has certainly made aware a large chunk of its citizens of their responsibilities and duties. The young are now alert to their own role that the country expects them to perform. The idealism of the youth, strengthened with inputs from Gandhian thought and approach, could be sustained on a strong base of value development strategies. An emerging knowledge society must derive strength from its existing cognitive capital and its analysis and contemporary relevance could always bring in substantial additions and advancements. Those, to whom this volume could reach, may be better prepared to contribute effectively to the cause of the nation building.
