Sandra has been married for 55 years to her pastor husband, Barry. She is the mother of two grown daughters, Wendy and Beth, and mother in law to Chaz and Brent. She is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren. Quinn a student at a Southern University, Soren is a student at a Western University and Zoe is a Junior in High School and first chair violinist in the school orchestra. Sandra is also Alpha dog to a rescued mixed breed pooch named Chessie. Sandra's desire to write started ten years ago when her husband made the decision with God's encouragement to go into the ministry. Being able to direct the lives of her fictional characters has continued to give her sanity where at times there seems to be none. As the stress of going from a businessman's wife to one who is supporting a congregation of different view points can be challenging to say the least. At times feeling as if Sandra and her husband are trying to turn the Queen Mary around in the Detroit River. Creating fictional characters in a fictional arena is a much easier job. Sandra has her degree in Commercial and Graphic Art. She is an accomplished long arm quilter, a crafter, and a caterer. Along with the Mochila Saga, this newest book, Settling on the Frontier follows our friends, Jeffrey and Tamara Kane as they travel to the west trying to fulfill their father's dying wish. Settling on the Frontier will take you on a journey with the twins to Lone Tree, Nebraska, where they settle on a farm on the outskirts of the town. The Civil War still rages in the East as the twins find a place they can be without the turmoil from the war-torn states of the North and South. Little do they know the challenges they must face just twelve miles north east of Julesburg, Colorado and the Indian unrest all around them. Settling on the Frontier is the second book in the trilogy. A Place to call Home will be the last in the Mochila Saga Series and will be out in the Spring of 2019. Thank you for taking this journey with Jeffrey and Tamara Kane.
