Pete Seeger Sings Woody Guthrie

In this collection of live recordings, Pete Seeger plays some of his favorite Woody Guthrie tunes. Classics such as Pretty Boy Floyd, Reuben James, and This Land is Your Land are included alongside less well known Guthrie tunes such as Round and Round (a song about Einstein's theory of relativity), Miss Pavlichenko, and Roll on Columbia. In typical Seeger style, he frequently encourages the audience to participate during the recordings, and he teaches the audience about the tunes as well, engaging them in stories about the songs and the Dust Bowl Troubadour himself.
