Loraine had Emma when she was just fifteen years old and one would think that would lead to a close mother daughter bond. But that is unfortunately not the case for these two. In fact, Loraine has blamed Emma for everything that has gone wrong in her life. Emma has one focus and one focus only, and that is graduating college, moving out and cutting all ties with her mother for good. That is until her mother starts dating a gorgeous Veterinarian named Jay who comes in and flips Emma's entire world upside down.
