Description
Details: Seals & Crofts were a Texas soft-rock duo that scored three big hits in the 1970s: "Summer Breeze," "Diamond Girl" and "Get Closer." They disbanded in 1980 after the release of their eleventh studio album 'The Longest Road'. The album opens with "Stars", a heavily jazz influenced track featuring guest appearances from Return To Forever members Chick Corea on piano and bassist Stanley Clarke. The title track "The Longest Road" is an up-tempo catchy tune featuring great harmonies and a wonderful sax solo from Jim Seals. The final of the album is an emotional ballad called "One Planet, One People, Please" with Dash Croft's signature mandolin melodies leading the way. 'The Longest Road' is now one of the fan-favorites.
