About the Author
WAJDI MOUAWAD has worked as an actor and director, and his original plays have become a central element in many theatres across Quebec. Mouawad was the winner of the Governor General's Literary Award in 2000, and earned the position of Artistic Director of the National Arts Centre French Theatre in 2007. LINDA GABORIAU is a dramaturg and literary translator credited with translating over 100 titles, including a number of plays by such reknowned writers as Michel Tremblay, Jean Marc Dalpé, Daniel Danis, and Michel Marc Bouchard. Gaboriau was the founding director of the Banff International Literary Translation Centre.
