Daisy and Yeh-Yeh return in this schooltime story about being eager to make new friends and making up with them if things go wrong. Daisy's grandpa, Yeh-Yeh, is visiting from China, just in time for her new school year. But when she starts school, she realizes that none of her friends are in her class this year! Too eager to make new friends, Daisy doesn't pay attention when she takes her classmates' turns, spills their snacks, and tumbles their towers. Making friends is hard when everyone at school is grumpy! Or are they? With Yeh-Yeh's encouragement, and a spark of compassion and creativity, Daisy has a new idea to make amends--and maybe even friends--with her new classmates. Readers will love this funny, heartwarming, and all-too-relatable story about understanding other's grumbles and navigating and nurturing relationships at school and in our families. Don't miss Grandpa Grumps and Grumpy New Year in this series as well!

Katrina Moore is an author and former elementary educator. Earning an MA in teaching, she has over thirteen years of experience in classrooms and schools across multiple states. She writes in Georgia, where her mission is to create books that children will hug for ages, like Grandpa Grumps, Grumpy New Year, The Star In You, Chang'e On The Moon, Hope Is a Hop, the Teeny Houdini chapter book series, and more. When not writing, she's cooking without a recipe, painting outside the lines, or snuggling up with her two kids, husband, big dogs, and of course, a cozy book. Find out more about Katrina at katrinamoorebooks.com. Xindi Yan left behind a small city in China, traveling thousands of miles to New York to realize her dream of being a published artist. She received her BFA in illustration from Pratt Institute and has since worked as an illustrator for the gaming industry and for children's books, some of which include Grandpa Grumps, Grumpy New Year, Reese Witherspoon's Busy Betty series, Sylvia Rose and the Cherry Tree, The Itty-Bitty Witch, and the Craftily Ever After series.
