One of the rising stars on the newly revamped Miami based Afrowax label is the German DJ/synth player Markus Schmidt, known in his native country as "Groove Man" for his unique prowess in the recording studio, sweetening tracks with his rare magic. The talented DJ has developed a unique sound that can be described as "Euro-lectro," and a perfect fit for Afrowax, the groovy little label that turned the world on to the sounds of speed garage and other adventurous electro-dance music.
