This tale takes place at Auntie Anna's farm, located in a portion of beautiful Upper Michigan known as Erwin Township. It is about Auntie Anna's carefree relationship with a wild animal she names Lucy, while also emphasizing the special blessings of family life on the farm. Daily living revolves around family, enjoying traditions and time together, kindness, working hard to help each other, and manners. Pride in Finnish culture is highlighted, while exhibiting a lovely humbleness with gratitude.
