Imminent Standards Trio, Vol. 2

Jc Sanford, most known for his edgy original compositions on previous projects like Pyramid Scheme and Keratoconus, puts forth his second jazz standards recording as a leader with Imminent Standards Trio, Vol. 2, a year after releasing Vol. 1. The album includes tunes from Monk, Ornette, Dexter and even Stevie Wonder and comes across like a hard swinging blowing session, featuring Sanford on trombone with bassist Charlie Lincoln and drummer Abinnet Berhanu.
