A one-woman mystery-thriller, the solo play Sandra is the story of a charismatic Brooklyn caf? owner who travels to Mexico to solve the disappearance of her closest friend. When Ethan, a young, gay composer, never returns from his trip to Puerto Vallarta, Sandra must follow the clues to her friend's vanishing and her own instincts. As she stumbles into a highly-charged erotic affair, she also finds herself in dangerous territory; a journey which ultimately leads to a complete transformation of her life. With an original recorded piano score by Matthew Dean Marsh - representing Ethan's music - woven into the story and serving as a spiritual stand-in for her friend, Sandra is part thriller, part love story, part journey of self-discovery, as this captivating woman ventures out of the safety of her life into the unknown.
