Masaoki Shindo is a Japanese manga artist whose previously published one-shots include "Twin Peach," "Joreishi Rentaro no Yakusoku" (The Oath of Ice Slayer Rentaro), "Sky Claw," and "Count Over." RuriDragon was first published as a one-shot in 2020 before it began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2022. The series went on hiatus before returning in 2024.
