Jewel Daniels lives for adventure. Will running away solve everything? Two years ago, Jewel left Dew Springs, Texas with a broken heart, the kind that only adventure can heal. She had hoped to have her name plastered across every poster as the fastest gunslinger in the West. Instead, Jewel had persisted as 'Ruby Drawers' the 'damsel-in-distress' in her husbands' travelling sharp shooter show waiting for her big break. It's not until her patience runs out with her adulterous husband that Jewel decides enough is enough. It was time Jewel Daniels made her own destiny. Marcus Kearby always does the right thing. Always. Two years ago Marcus Kearby joined the Texas Rangers, hoping to make himself something worthy of his father's praise. Along the way Marcus hoped he could prove to the one girl that broke his heart that he wasn't an insufferable square. He had stopped in at every sharp shooter carnival along the Trails hoping to catch a glimpse of the red-headed girl who still haunted his dreams. Jewel and Marcus collide in Kansas, only to discover 'Ruby Drawers' has been wrongly accused of murdering the show's leading man, a member of the most wanted outlaw gang in the West. Marcus must choose between Jewel and doing what's right. Jewel must decide whether she'll take one last shot for Marcus's heart.
