Georgina Lázaro es escritora, poeta y traductora puertorriqueña, galardonada con múltiples premios, incluyendo un Pura Belpré Honor, el Pen Club de Puerto Rico y varios Premios Campoy-Ada. Lázaro es ampliamente reconocida como una de las autoras infantiles más importantes de Puerto Rico y una de las voces latinas más destacadas en el mercado escolar y bibliotecario en español de Estados Unidos.
Georgina Lázaro is a Puerto Rican writer, poet, and translator, recipient of multiple awards, including a Pura Belpré Honor, Pen Club of Puerto Rico, and several Campoy-Ada Awards. Lázaro is widely recognized as one of Puerto Rico's most important children's authors and among the most prominent Latinx voices in the Spanish-language school and library market in the United States.
Ruiz, Lonnie: -Lonnie Ruiz es un ilustrador y diseñador centroamericano. Desde pequeño le gustaba mucho dibujar y crear imágenes para contar historias. Estudió diseño gráfico en la Universidad Politécnica de Nicaragua (UPOLI) e hizo cursos relacionados con la lectura y los libros para niños y jóvenes. Lonnie hace ilustraciones para libros infantiles, así como revistas y carteles sobre temas sociales y culturales, buscando siempre crear imágenes desafiantes y memorables que invitan a la reflexión. Sus obras han sido reconocidas en concursos y exposiciones en México, Bolivia, Perú, España, Estados Unidos, Corea, Italia y los Emiratos Árabes. Además de crear arte, Lonnie también enseña a otros a dibujar y expresarse.
Lonnie Ruiz is a Central American illustrator and designer. From an early age, he loved drawing and creating images to tell stories. He studied graphic design at Universidad Politécnica de Nicaragua and took courses related to reading and children's and young adult books. Lonnie creates illustrations for children's books, as well as magazines and posters about social and cultural issues, always seeking to create thought-provoking and memorable images. His work has been recognized in competitions and exhibitions in Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Spain, the United States, Korea, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates. In addition to creating art, Lonnie also teaches others how to draw and express themselves creatively.
