ROD AGAINST ROD takes that question seriously. Genesis records a boundary crossed on purpose, a corruption that reached past mankind into flesh itself, and a judgment so total that eight people came through the water. The oldest Hebrew witnesses record who crossed it, what they taught, and what they left behind when the flood went down.

Then the pattern appears a second time. A sorcerer named Balaam rises from a boy working divination with wax and water to a counsellor seated at the right hand of Pharaoh. He reads the sign of a coming deliverer correctly, advises a king to destroy the Hebrew children, and trains two sons whose names the apostle Paul put into the New Testament. When Moses came, they stood up against him with real power that really worked, and they were publicly broken on terms they chose themselves.

Paul, writing his last letter from a Roman prison, reached past every other picture in the Old Testament and handed the church that scene: "Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth."

This book traces six marks that appeared in both eras and are promised a third time. Forbidden knowledge arriving as a gift. The created order broken by instruction. Occult power seated beside the throne. Organized violence. A counterfeit that performs real signs in the open. And a remnant warned, and small, and largely ignored.

Part Four puts the weapons in the reader's hands: the order of battle in Ephesians 6, the difference between delegated authority and raw power, the weapons named in Scripture, and the closing of the ground that lets a spirit return to a house that was swept and left empty.

Written in an apostolic register for disciples who intend to be standing when the confrontation comes. Scripture throughout is the King James Version. Twenty-one chapters in four parts, suitable for personal study, house churches, discipleship groups, and prison and mission work.
