Cyborg supercop Murphy (Peter Weller) is back to uphold the law and protect the innocent in crime-ridden near-future Detroit, but between the corrupting influence of his corporate sponsors on the police department, a psychotic drug lord (Tom Noonan) foisting his wares on the community, and the threat posed by a fearsome "replacement model," his return may be short-lived.
