Revenge - Paperback

Revenge by Kevin Taylor is a riveting psychological crime thriller set against the raw beauty and dark underbelly of Cape Town, South Africa.

When Dr. Beverley Walker, a newly qualified doctor at Groote Schuur Hospital, wakes up in her own bed with no memory of the night before, her world shatters. The evidence is undeniable, she has been raped. The violation ignites a storm within her: rage, disbelief, and a burning determination for justice.

Frustrated by a slow and indifferent justice system, Beverley takes matters into her own hands, uncovering connections between her assault, a series of similar attacks, and a powerful criminal network. As she delves deeper, she crosses paths with Lieutenant Gabriel Baxter, a principled yet conflicted investigator, and Dr. Herman Gleeson, a pathologist whose moral compass guides her through the labyrinth of deceit. Together, they unravel a chilling web that reaches from the city's nightclubs to the upper echelons of power.

What begins as a personal fight for justice becomes an unrelenting pursuit of truth, corruption, and survival. In a city where power and crime intersect, Beverley must choose between the law's slow hand and the immediate satisfaction of vengeance.

Equal parts psychological drama and high-stakes crime fiction, Revenge explores the strength of a woman's will to rise above trauma and reclaim her power. With vivid South African settings, gritty realism, and emotional intensity, Kevin Taylor delivers a gripping tale of courage, retribution, and redemption.
