He was raised in a Bible-based Christian home: his mother taught Scripture Union and ran a "Friday Club" for young kids, where she taught children from the neighbourhood, local school and surrounding farms about Jesus and the Bible; his father taught older kids and eventually ran a small home church after being asked to do so. As a result, Judson grew up under constant Biblical encouragement, teaching and training, which provided a strong foundation and was a building block for his own walk with God, interest in Scripture and love for the Lord.
