She was formerly president of the Australian Association of Writing Programs and is on the boards of New Writing, TEXT and Write4Children. GRAEME HARPER is Director of The Honors College and Professor of English at Oakland University, Michigan, USA. He was Chair of Higher Education at the National Association of Writers in Education and is Editor of New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing. He is also series editor of Palgrave Macmillan's Approaches to Writing series and has edited Teaching Creative Writing and Creative Writing Studies. He holds doctorates in Creative Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney and from the University of East Anglia, UK.
