Hensen, McKenzie: - McKenzie Hensen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Illinois and a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Counselor (TF-CBT model). McKenzie works with children and teens who have experienced trauma in their past. After working with children for years in this capacity, she was inspired by the resiliency seen in these young people on a daily basis. This encouraged her to create a story with the hopes of having children and teens turn inward and use the strengths they carry to cope, overcome troubles, and continue to be resilient.
